Swedes move ahead in the Kungens Kanna / Drottningens Pris.
The main event is under way. After 32 matches 11 Swedes have made it to the next round in the Kungens Kanna / Drottningens Pris.
The arena is full of players, coaches, relatives and officials and the tournament is under way. Swedens national team players Caijsa Henneman, Viktor Arsov and Tim Tordendahl all won their first round matches. As did Swedes Edis Nokic, Leyton Rivera, Kevin Chahoud and Anna Leijon.
Swedens Jessica Mridha and Lancelot Carnello also won by playing some amazing tennis against the international competition in their respective matches.
The number one Swede, Victoria Carlsten played a very tight match against Kseniya Yersh from Belarus and managed to win in three sets, 1-6 6-4 7-6(5).
Tomorrow the junior superstars and top seeds, Timofey Skatov, Jack Draper, Ekaterina Makarova and Anna Laguza will start the tournament, and we’re expecting some great tennis battles during the coming days.
